During my medical studies in Erlangen and Regensburg, my interest in dermatology was awakened when I was already working on digital image analysis for skin cancer in my doctoral thesis and later in a joint research project with my doctoral supervisor with artificial intelligence (AI) – today we have in the Practice with the Fotofinder/AI system a perfect tool to support the diagnostic certainty in skin cancer prevention. Dermatological surgery has become one of my favorite activities thanks to my academic teachers. In the aesthetic field, which I enjoy a lot in addition to surgical dermatosurgery, I have also developed a good eye for the effect and perception of our aesthetic treatments because of my preferences for design and composition (as a child I wanted to be a designer). whether laser or wrinkle treatment, skin rejuvenation, lips & Co.
I like to go skiing, ride a motorbike and have a soft spot for old and especially beautiful cars. This is where my aesthetic sense comes into play again – and also manual skills, if necessary.
